We are looking for a team player with the right attitude. You don't need to have onsite/field experience to apply, but if you do have valve application and already located/willing to locate in Africa, that works too!This role provides technical supports to the local sales team to increase our supply volume and foot print. Key Responsibilities:Meeting with customers along with our in-country/Regional Sales personals and building relationships; helping them troubleshoot or supporting their needsConducting site visits and collecting the existing products install base detailsSizing and selection of highly technical items including control valves, pressure regulator and other pipeline products represented in the regionEntering and managing technical quotations and orders processing through online applications and portals.Being technical focal points to suppliers and customersWorking closely with other departments of the organization to ensure we delight the customer. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and lead generation activities.Continuously update and expand product knowledge to stay abreast of new technologies, features, and applications related to our OEMs.Frequent site travel to neighboring countries along with local sales members from the regionQualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.Proven track record of 3-5 years of successful control or safety valves sales experience in the region.Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present technical information and build relationships with customers.Knowledge of site mapping, valve condition reporting, knowledge of internal valve process worksStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative solutions to customer challenges.Fluent in English; knowledge of other regional or local languages is a plusMandatory to be a local candidate based in Johannesburg, South AfricaTo apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience and why you believe you would be a great fit for this position to ******
