As a Sales and Data Analyst, you should be able to analyse and synthesise large amounts of data and ensure records and reports are accurately maintained and provide practical guidance to optimise sales strategies to increase market share. You will be responsible to collect and examine data and use the information gathered to create coherent, intelligent reports. Manage the development team for the BI reporting tool. Need to drive projects as and when needed. YOUR DAY TO DAY Your main areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to the following: BI Tool and sales systems (Cognos and Repsly) ownership and management, data integrity, development, sales templates, reporting, user licences and trainingCompiling, analysing, and reporting sales data (STT, Retail Sales, BA Commission and expenses)Monitoring and analysing competitive activity, customer, and market trends (Data Orbis)Review past sales data to determine trends in productivityProviding actionable insights to guide the sales and marketing teamsContributing to the development of sales plans and objectivesMonitoring and evaluating sales performanceDetermining sales potential and making recommendationsPrepare accurate reports using data from internal and external sourcesEvaluate third-party data to determine best practices for company successCollaborate with team members and members of other departmentsPrepare and compile monthly expenses /provisions from the sales teamsProcess mapping for continued efficiencies and effectivenessMINIMUM ROLE REQUIREMENTS:Degree in business Administration, Finance, or Marketing or equivalentCognos experience (or similar business analytics/reporting system)5+ years in research and data analysis skillsRetail experienceTECHNICAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:Proficient in Microsoft office with advanced ExcelAdvanced problem-solving, reporting and analysis skillsAble to plan, prioritise and self-manage deliverablesHigh level of organization and detail-orientationAbility to work independently and with cross-functional teamsSuperior oral and written communication skillsStrong work ethic and willingness to take initiativeAdaptable, flexible and resilient and can work in a fast paced, evolving environmentA passion for beautyBENEFITS:Competitive guaranteed TCTC packageCompany performance bonus based on global company performance.
