The Sales Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team, managing sales documentation, processing orders, and maintaining customer relationships. This role ensures the efficient handling of sales orders and the timely delivery of products and services to clients. The Sales Administrator also serves as a point of contact for customers with queries about orders or deliveries.Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Processing:Process sales orders received via phone, email, or in-person.Verify order details, including customer information, product specifications, and pricing.Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the sales order system.Sales Support:Assist the sales team with the preparation of quotations, proposals, and presentations.Maintain sales records and prepare sales reports as required.Coordinate with other departments (e.g., logistics, finance) to ensure order fulfilment.Customer Service:Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, and product information.Provide customers with updates on order status and delivery schedules.Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.Administrative Duties:Manage and organize sales documentation and contracts.Schedule and coordinate sales meetings and appointments.Assist with the preparation and distribution of sales materials and marketing collateral.Inventory And Stock Management:Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse to ensure stock availability.Place orders for stock replenishment when necessary.Assist in inventory audits and reconciliations.Data Management:Maintain and update customer databases and sales records.Generate and analyze sales reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of sales data.QualificationsNational Senior CertificateSkillsStrong Excel knowledge.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Familiarity with Pastel software and sales order processing systems.Must have valid drivers' license and own transport.
