The position will report directly to the Sales Director.Purpose of the job:Main purpose is to communicate with customers, coordinate sales (including cash sales), and also liaise with the production team regarding orders production and delivery.Key accountabilities:Receive customer orders, calls, and enquiriesBring prompt, clear, and professional feedback to all customer queriesBe the direct interface with customers and internal departments (production, logistics, quality, Key Account Managers) to ensure full customer satisfactionFollow up with production, stores, and customers about orders delivery datesPlace customer sales orders in SAPInvoice from SAPEnsure prices are up to date in SAPCapture all slips and records of money spent out of petty cashEnsure that the driver has all correct paperwork and directions to customer premisesMaintain stock levels for daily sales and communicate with production regarding orders being producedArrange transport with transporters and logistic supervisorCommunicate daily and weekly with production to plan and produce customers' needsAssist in FIFOCreate credit notesTrack service levelEducation/Training:Matric/Diploma (preferred)Know-how/Professional Experience:SAP experience (preferred)Willingness to learn, flexibility, autonomyMulti-tasking abilityConfidentiality is guaranteed.As a global company, we are very proud of our diverse workforce and attach great importance to equal opportunity and diversity.
