Job DescriptionAnticipated Contract End Date / Length: February 2025 - May 2025 (4 - 6 months contract)Our client in the global professional services industry is seeking an experienced Sage Payroll Administrator to join their team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless payroll processes for the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with extensive Sage payroll experience to contribute to a dynamic team within a global leader in professional services.What you will do: Payroll ManagementAccurately process payroll for employees using the Sage Payroll system.Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, labour laws and company policies.Administer payroll transactions, including salaries, overtime, deductions and benefits.Data AdministrationMaintain and update employee records within Sage Payroll.Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of payroll data.Verify payroll inputs, such as timesheets and leave records, for completeness and accuracy.Reporting and ReconciliationGenerate detailed payroll reports for internal and external stakeholders.Perform payroll reconciliations and address any discrepancies promptly.Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.Compliance and SupportStay updated on South African payroll laws and Sage software updates.Support HR and Finance teams with payroll-related queries and reports.Assist in the development and refinement of payroll processes.QualificationsRelevant qualification in Payroll Administration, HR, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator, specifically with Sage Payroll.Minimum of 3 years' experience in payroll processing in a medium to large organisation.Strong knowledge of South African tax regulations and labor laws.Proficiency in Sage Payroll software.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Familiarity with payroll reconciliation and reporting.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Strong organisational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.Additional InformationCandidates must be legally authorized to live and work in the country the position is based in, without requiring sponsorship.We appreciate your interest in this opportunity.
