Responsibilities:

Develop and implement safety programs and policies.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
Identify and address potential hazards and unsafe acts.
Provide safety training and education to employees.
Investigate accidents and incidents, and recommend preventive measures.
Ensure compliance with mining safety regulations and standards.
Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.

Requirements:

Grade 12.
National Diploma in Safety/Risk Management.
COMSOC 1 & 2 / SAMTRAC.
5 years' experience as Safety Officer within the mining industry.
Valid Driver's License.
