Key Responsibilities: Manage and lead a team within the Safari department.
Oversee daily scheduling of field guides.
Control and manage the Safari department's budget.
Handle fleet management and drive scheduling, including equipment checks and maintenance.
Provide training and guidance to the Safari team to ensure that guests have exceptional experiences.
Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall lodge experience.
Working in a demanding environment with long hours and extreme conditions.
Ensuring high-quality experiences for guests while managing a diverse team.
Qualifications and Skills: FGASA Level 2 certification is essential.
FGASA Level 3 and Full or Full Trails Guide qualification preferred.
DEATs registration.
Advanced rifle handling certification.
Valid driver's license with PrDP.
Valid First Aid Level 1 certification (minimum).
Matric certificate.
Criminal clearance certificate required.
Solid references that can attest to professionalism and experience.
Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication abilities.
