Rigger - Mining

Hire Resolve's client is actively seeking a talented Rigger to join their mining company located in the North-West region. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient rigging and lifting of equipment and materials within the mining operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct inspections and prepare rigging equipment for lifting operations.
Coordinate with operators and ground crew to ensure lifts are executed safely.
Conduct risk assessments and follow safety protocols during rigging operations.
Perform regular maintenance and inspections on rigging equipment.
Maintain accurate documentation of all rigging activities and equipment usage.
Provide training and mentorship to junior riggers.

Requirements:

Grade 12 Rigger Trade Test Certificate.
N3/N4 Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
5 years' experience in the mining industry.
Extensive Gold experience.
Experience in underground and opencast mining.
