Key Responsibilities: General Manager all GP StoresRequired to work between all storesRepairs and Maintenance of StoresInterviewing candidates for potential store employeesSigning of Contracts with new staff membersIssuing of WarningsResolving Issues with Managers and staffCommission CalculationsArranging for Suppliers to train staff on new or existing rangesImplementing new systems to make things run more smoothlyBuilding up a client database within the storesLiaising with Marketing department for:Attending events to sell products and market the brandsCreating a schedule of events to be attended throughout the yearCoordinating marketing in store with online and social media marketingEnsuring all staff know the company procedures and policiesCoordinating repairs of products for clothing, watches, sunglasses, etc.Monitoring all communications groups between staff and ensuring compliance with company policiesEnsuring all store managers report a monthly checklist for any issues in store that need to be fixed or replacedEnsuring all contractors used in store comply with the company's requirementsOverseeing all contractors billing and ensuring accountability for work doneEnsuring managers are accountable for stock takes or cycle counts done in storeEnsuring managers are accountable for stock requisitions and IBT's sent and received from storesEnsuring managers are accountable for accurate pricing against the system within the storesEnsuring full accountability of stock takes or cycle countsEnsuring a monthly stock take is performed in all locationsEnsuring that daily cycle counts are done on smaller sections each daySending out monthly stock aging reportsPerforming monthly stock fulfillment reports on categories or items that are going to be out of stockConducting random spot checks in store to audit actual counts performed weeklySetting financial year budgets linked to budgets per store and per sales memberMonitoring Sales Team's targets and assisting staff members to reach their targetsReporting back any reasons why sales team can't meet their targets to managementTraining of Staff in Products/Selling/ProcessesHandling or ensuring all Customer Queries/Stock Requests/Complaints are handled in a timely mannerAuthorising discounts in store when discounts other than system discounts are usedKnowledge, Skills and Abilities: Pastel Evolution "must"Ability to work in a high-pressure environmentAbility to work retail hoursFluent in English and AfrikaansKnowledge and experience in sales of exclusive brandsPosted 2024-09-03
