Job Description: We are looking to employ motivated and friendly Retail Sales Assistants in our team. This is an excellent entry-level career opportunity for individuals with a high school diploma and South African ID. No prior retail experience, though advantageous, is required due to the extensive training provided by us in FAIS, Compliance, and FICA training.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide high levels of customer service; find merchandise for customers, respond to customer inquiries, and promote a positive shopping experience.
Product Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about the company's product assortment to provide information to customers.
Sales Support: Assist customers directly with purchases; ring merchandise accurately, while maintaining a clean and visually appealing store environment.
Inventory Management: Stock shelves, maintain inventory levels, and present products in a manner that appeals to customers.
Compliance: Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including those relating to FAIS, Compliance, and FICA regulations.
Teamwork: To work effectively together as a team to achieve store objectives and have a continuous smooth shopping experience for our customers.
Requirements:
Education: Matric / equivalent.
Identification: Valid SA ID.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attitude: Friendly, approachable, and willing to learn.
Motivation: Enthusiastic and motivated with a need to be part of a team-based environment.
Training Provided:
FAIS Training: Extensive training in the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act about retail financial products. Compliance Training: Deep understanding of compliance requirements and best practices within retail. FICA Training: Training in the Financial Intelligence Centre Act and its applications within retail transactions.
