Restaurant Manager - George, Western Cape  Our client is looking for a dynamic Restaurant and Front of House Manager to oversee daily operations, lead their front-of-house team, and uphold the highest standards of guest service.
This is a unique opportunity to be a key player in shaping the culture and success of their new restaurant in  George, Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Management: Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional service and a memorable dining experience for every guest.
Address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
Operations: Oversee daily restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Communication: Collaborate with kitchen staff, vendors, and management to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience.
Event Coordination: Plan and manage special events, private parties, and reservations, ensuring all aspects run smoothly.
Financial Oversight: Assist with budgeting, cost control, and revenue management to achieve financial goals.
Qualifications: Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and leading successful teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on creating outstanding guest experiences.
Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure.
Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele and team.
Own transport and a valid driver's license.
