An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Restaurant General Manager to head up our vibrant and friendly team at our Shoreditch restaurant.
As General Manager of Burger & Beyond, your role is to manage a great restaurant, creating fantastic food and unforgettable experiences for customers, whilst directing and coaching your team to deliver results.
You will maintain great standards while always supporting and training your team to ensure that our food, drinks, and service are always top-notch!
You will have the experience needed to hit the ground running, a natural at developing your teams, controlling the costs, and playing a key part in the bigger picture with the support of your Directors, Operations Manager, and team.

A successful General Manager will:
Be proudly in charge of your restaurant
Have a genuine passion for hospitality and ensuring that the teams they lead and work in share this. We believe it's massively important to lead by example
Be a commercially aware leader who cares about creating a positive environment for your guests and your team
A love for food, drink, customer service, and, above all else, people
Have previous experience of 2 years minimum as a Restaurant Manager and a background in customer service-focused hospitality
Have the drive to take on the extra responsibility that comes with working for a young and exciting business and the desire to work closely with the Founders to build something great!
Our GM will be responsible for:
The day-to-day running of the restaurant
FOH staff recruitment, training, and development
Driving restaurant performance and constantly inspiring the team to go the extra mile for our guests, keeping expectations and standards high
Maintaining the excellent standards of our incredible food, drinks, and service, ensuring customers leave and want to return
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach
Maintain a cohesive work environment for both FOH and BOH
Be able to effectively deal with customer feedback/complaints
Meet with founders on a monthly basis and report on individual KPI's
Have a sound working knowledge of legislation in this area
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance and ensure all relevant paperwork is completed and up to date as required
