Resident Support Services Assistant

To provide a variety of support services to Sandringham Gardens residents aimed at enriching their lives.
Role and ResponsibilitiesIncluding but not limited to:
Alternate manning of the Sandringham Gardens ShopAlternate manning of the Sandringham Gardens LibraryAssist residents with all Wi-Fi/phone issuesAssist residents with e-mailing / smartphone use educationAssist Sandringham Gardens residents with any TV, DVD or similar issuesDo daily shopping for residentsReceive and count stock to ensure accuracy of order vs receiptDistribute stock donated and packs to residents/wardsConsolidate all airtime dailyAssist with packing, stock take, admin etc.Assist with furniture/possession clearingDrive residents to offsite events if neededAd-hoc duties as requiredQualifications and Education RequirementsMatricProficient in use of technology3-5 years' experience working with the elderly (advantageous)Preferred SkillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work as part of a teamThe ability to stand for extended periodsThe ability to work under pressure
