Job TitleClinical Application Specialist MRI
Job DescriptionAs a Clinical Application Specialist Imaging (MRI), you will provide clinical expertise through pre-sales presentations, product demonstrations, application training, and the handover of company products. You will assist the sales staff in assessing the potential application of company products to meet customer needs and in preparing detailed product clinical specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications and solutions.
Your Role: Set up application training schedules in close cooperation with the customer.
Train and Re-train customers in applying the best possible clinical procedures and protocols to achieve optimal usage of the delivered MRI equipment.
Report on difficulties in the optimal usage of the equipment.
Deliver customized (competency-based) training material packs when required.
Support user group meetings as needed.
Conduct regular visits to customers to obtain direct feedback about the quality of training delivery and customer satisfaction.
Support and advise the sales force during acquisition.
Stay updated on new developments in the clinical application and operating field of the relevant equipment.
Manage the safety standards required by the company, including radiation protection and health and safety regulations. In the event of hazards or accidents, take immediate control of the situation and involve the safety advisor from the regional office.
Ensure that all clinical applications training, with both new and existing customers, complies with the company's quality policy.
Report customer feedback according to applicable quality standard policies and follow up on relevant assigned quality and regulatory training in a timely manner.
As a Clinical Application Specialist Imaging (MRI), you will join our team based in Johannesburg, South Africa, reporting to the Imaging Clinical Application Leader META. You will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills in a multinational setup.
You are the right fit if: You have a medical-related or radiography background (certificate or degree as a radiographer).
You possess in-depth clinical MRI knowledge with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
You have experience using post-processing tools and advanced applications.
You can perform advanced MRI examinations (Cardiac, Neuro imaging, Angiography, Pediatric).
Previous experience as an Application Specialist and experience with Philips MRI as a radiographer is a plus.
You have strong communication skills.
You can utilize problem-solving, critical thinking, and priority-setting skills.
You are fluent in English, both spoken and written, in addition to the local language.
Teaching experience in a clinical environment is preferred.
You are willing to travel extensively within South Africa and to other regions within META as necessary.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company's facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company's main facilities, generally at the customers' or suppliers' locations.
