Key Responsibilities:Reservoir Management:Lead reservoir analysis and simulation studies to optimize production and recovery rates.Develop and implement reservoir management plans, including enhanced recovery techniques.Monitor reservoir performance and recommend adjustments to production strategies.Team Leadership:Manage and mentor a team of reservoir engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools and training to meet project goals.Field Development Planning:Oversee the preparation of field development plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.Provide input on well placement, drilling strategies, and production optimization.Data Analysis & Reporting:Analyze reservoir data, including pressure tests, production logs, and well performance metrics.Prepare and present detailed reports and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.Collaboration:Work closely with geologists, production engineers, and other technical teams to integrate reservoir data into broader project strategies.Collaborate with external consultants and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.Innovation & Technology:Stay updated on the latest advancements in reservoir engineering technologies and apply them to improve operations.Drive innovation and implement best practices to enhance reservoir performance and sustainability.Compliance & Risk Management:Ensure all reservoir engineering activities comply with local, national, and international regulations.Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
