To ensure the Company fully complies with its contractual obligations, the Junior E&M Technician should at all times ensure that such equipment and facilities are fully functional.
Furthermore, the Junior E&M Technician is responsible for recordkeeping of such maintenance and to report any serious and malicious damage to any electrical and mechanical equipment or facilities to the superior timeously.

The Technician must drive a motor vehicle on public roads A regular amount of overtime and standby duties to be performed.
The work environment characteristics are those encountered on a typical highway and at the toll road environment, as well as at office buildings.
The work is performed inside and outside buildings Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Maintain Toll Plaza Electrical and Mechanical Equipment.
Maintaining all electrical reticulation systems at the plaza including Db's.
Low voltage cabling, wiring, earthing protection installations, socket outlets and switches, power skirting, geysers etc.
Maintaining lighting installations including area, plaza, canopy and booth lighting, fog lights and flashing beacons.
General handyman maintenance including electrical, mechanical, building, plumbing and painting.
Conduct daily and monthly inspections and preventative maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, access control, CCTV equipment and buildings at the plaza Doing fault finding Dismantle equipment when required for repair or transportation and reassemble it at the appropriate time Analyse drawings Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operation Repair all malfunction equipment and buildings as per the Maintenance Manual Report all incidents in the prescribed manner Recordkeeping of all inspections in the prescribed manner Ensure tools are kept in a good and clean working order Ensure all health, safety and security policies and procedures are followed at all times Ensure that all equipment will be in good working order to ensure the maximum uptime Supervise work done at Plazas by subcontractors in order to ensure: Scope of work is correct Ensure quality of work is acceptable Compliance with health and safety legislation and policies and procedures Authority to instruct/refuse subcontractor's access in cases of sub-standard work and none compliance with policies and procedures at the Plazas).
