The hotel is a festival-inspired food lovers paradise and showcase for music and nightlife, featuring 131 rooms with natural textures and artisan touches. Together the property will have 3 restaurants and bar outlets, all of them highly programmed.Job DescriptionAssists the hotel to achieve department targets by accurately interpreting the accommodation needs of guests and organisations, selling the maximum number of room nights at the highest achievable rate, cross-selling the hotel departments, making careful notes of all guest requirements, ensuring that guest requirements are captured in the booking, guest profile and history, and formulating and sending an accurate quotation when required. The position takes responsibility for the complete recording of all booking and inquiry details and correspondence, while taking all reasonable measures to maximise occupancy and revenue as her primary operational responsibility. This role works closely with the relevant Department Teams to ensure a coordinated effort for providing personalised service and product is achieved and that guest preferences and requests are met with an absolute minimum of error. The role also works to ensure that guests perceive the hotel as a highly professional business in all respects.QualificationsDegree or equivalent in Hospitality Management / LeadershipSignificant Background in Reservations Service of a luxury hotel5 or more years of experience in the hospitality Reservations operations of a luxury hotelProficient in the application of Up-Sell and Cross-Sell strategiesProficient in the application of sound negotiation skillsProficient user of Microsoft Office software applicationsProficient user of OPERAAbility to anticipate future circumstances, conditions and requests and use these scenarios to plan for the futureAbility to accurately process accounting transactionsAbility to demonstrate a flexible approach to getting work done, adjusting to changing circumstances and demandsAbility to simultaneously pay attention to a number of demandsEmbraces, supports and models organisational values and cultureAbility to effectively communicate effectively with guests and colleagues in EnglishStrong leadership skillsAdditional InformationWhat awaits you...The opportunity to join an international and innovative and fast-growing group.The ability to challenge the norm and work in an environment that is both creative and rewarding.Be part of a team that is very passionate about creating great hospitality experiences and exploring new locations with every opportunity.A competitive package and plenty of development opportunities.
