Renewable Project Engineer (Electrical Engineer)

Job Title: Project Engineer - Renewable Energy Location: South Africa Position Type: Full-Time Permanent Salary Range: R 60,000 R 90,000 per month with benefits Responsibilities: - Manage solar energy projects from conception to completion ensuring adherence to timeline, budget, and quality standards. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. - Perform site-specific engineering analysis of energy efficiency and conduct feasibility studies. - Develop blueprints for solar energy system development and ensure compliance with safety standards. - Provide technical expertise and guidance to enhance project performance. - Monitor project progress, identify risks and devise mitigation strategies. - Perform computer simulations of solar energy system performance to optimize efficiency. Requirements: - Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. Additional certifications in Renewable Energy or a Master's Degree in a related field will be advantageous. - 7-10 years of experience in related roles. - Proficiency in project management tools, solar system design software and CAD software. - Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong problem-solving abilities. - Willingness to travel internationally. In addition to these general skills and personality traits, we are seeking candidates with a sound understanding of solar energy system design, photovoltaic technology, and a proactive attitude to stay abreast of industry advancements.
