Relationship Manager

Job description: Ensure business profitability and growth in conjunction with the Operational Banker through retention, attraction and expansion of customers in portfolio. Must also ensure approval of customers' lending needs are met, no regrettable customer losses, portfolio is 100% self-funded through the attraction of correctly priced deposits. Do cross and up-selling received from Operational Banker and own sources. Achieve non-interest revenue targets. Must be relationship and customer focused by visiting customers, attend customer forums and ensuring no customer complaints. Must be risk focused and ensure that risk metrics stay within set parameters of the portfolio. Together with the Operational Banker to ensure all applicable due diligence on applications is done in accordance with laid down credit and risk policies and guidelines of the bank. Mentoring and coaching of younger staff.
