Job Title:Registration Admissions OfficersVarsity College is an educational brand of The Independent Institute of Education (The IIE). The IIE enjoys the reputation of being at the forefront of private higher education in South Africa, and is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) to provide higher education qualifications accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE).We are looking for suitably qualified candidates to work during our registration period. These will be contract roles for the following vacancy:Registration Admissions OfficerDuties and Responsibilities:Checking qualification entrance criteriaChecking and approval of module selectionModule amendments for student registrationCalling students for retention purposesCollection and uploading of documents after academic counsellingAssisting with student registration in the registration roomProviding online/telephonic support for student registrationAd hoc admin/registration assistanceCompetencies Required:Superior interpersonal and communications skillsComputer proficiencyPlanning skillsTime management skillsDeadline and results drivenBest suited to a friendly, organised and systematic person who has an eye for detail and who works accurately and is able to handle pressureMinimum Qualification Requirements:Minimum of a DegreeMinimum Work Experience Requirements:Minimum of 2 years administrative experience (ideally with admissions experience)Application Instructions:To apply for the vacancy, interested candidates should submit their updated CV.Application Response:Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further selection process.The IIE's Varsity College is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
