A vacancy exists for a Registered Nurse Trauma Qualified based at Life Wilgers Hospital in Pretoria East, reporting to the Unit Manager in the Trauma Unit. The successful candidates will contribute to the effective functioning of this unit and ensure quality nursing care to all patients.

Conducting in-service orientation on doctor specific preferencesExecuting doctor's requests and prescriptions after patient roundsAssisting multi-disciplinary team members with the execution of their dutiesEnsuring the effective functioning of equipment and instrumentation by:
Checking that equipment and instrumentation are in working condition daily and reporting any defaults to the Unit Manager and Clinical EngineerEducating and supervising staff and doctors on the correct utilization of specialized equipment and instrumentationEnsuring effective record keeping by:
