We are looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join Bolt Business in Johannesburg.
You'll be leading the growth of a whole continent, managing multiple sales teams across numerous countries, owning the regional go-to-market strategy, and building the sales organization. Reporting to the Regional Director of Bolt Business for Africa and Expansion Markets, you'll be part of the Bolt Business leadership team and be a key member steering the future of the business line.

About the roleWe're looking for a driven individual, a great leader with experience in B2B sales who can turbo charge and drive the success of Bolt Business team in the region.
We need a successful sales manager with a history of great results, who is excellent at team management, and who knows how to build teams, manage diverse workloads and deliver rapid growth.

Main tasks and responsibilities:Managing your sales organization, leading country managers across your region - owning sales performance, coaching, developing, and driving them to meet each country's goals.Achieving growth and smashing regional sales targets, driving your teams to success - hitting and beating targets and bringing success for all your markets and your region.Owning the regional go-to-market strategy, planning who's doing what, project P&L, and what your markets and teams will achieve.Coaching & Training your team - mentoring and improving them every day, performance managing your country managers, taking them to new levels, and developing their careers at Bolt.Assisting in the negotiations and closing of deals with the biggest global companies, ensuring smooth closing and driving the success of the team working the deals.Presenting sales and revenue forecasts to the management team, informing and updating the management team on your progress and successes in all markets you own.Developing processes, tools, and guidance for your sales organization - building the future of Bolt.Spotting opportunities, devising projects to test new ideas, and managing their execution - searching out new ways to grow, sell and win in all our markets.What we expect - About you:8+ years experience in fast-paced B2B Sales, with at least 4+ years managing sales teams ideally across several locations/markets and ideally a BS/MS degree in Business Administration or a related field.
You are a leader, who can motivate a large regional team, and manage different cultures and needs of your reports. You are experienced in rapidly recruiting and scaling a sales organization in multiple locations. Scale-up/start-up experience would be highly advantageous.
Experience in outbound selling of a service or SaaS product into the SME / large business market. Proven capability to lead and deliver fast and significant multi-million growth through sales teams.
Familiar with leading CRMs and highly analytical of sales stats and KPIs, with strong knowledge of how to steer a team to meet tough targets.
Skilled in defining processes, KPIs, and guidance for teams to follow. A true multitasker, able to manage multiple workloads, projects, and priorities.
