Qualifications required:3 year Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or Management or relevant.Skills and experience required: Experience in the Automotive Retail sector is essential.Dealership or OEM experience is a non-negotiable requirement.Product knowledge is essential.At least 5 - 8 years of experience in a similar Business Development / Sales Management position.Proven track record of sales and business growth.Talented communicator and motivator with natural authority.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong Excel skills.Strong financial and business acumen is required.Thorough understanding of profit/loss and financial performance.Job description:Manage the dealer network in Africa.Provide reports relevant to the sales activity for the region.Manage order process including order planning between dealer network and OEM's.Manage the pricing function, in collaboration with the marketing and finance departments.Ensure sales training is in place for region as per training plan.Regular dealer visit's in-country.Conduct dealership audits.Review of the dealership's sales performance vs. targets.Review and analyse market share and performance vs competitors.Check dealer debtors and ensure process/limitations are being followed.Ensure company policies/processes are being followed within the dealership.Action plans for improvement of sales volumes.Ensure correct model mix.Check ageing stock and ensure actions plans are in place.Ensure staff training has been followed by the dealer.Develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to the East African market to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure optimal performance.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners to enhance business opportunities and customer satisfaction.Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.Oversee the implementation of sales initiatives and promotional activities to boost market presence and brand awareness.Monitor and report on sales performance, including forecasting, budgeting, and key performance indicators.
