Refrigeration Operations & Service Manager

Requirements:Trade tested and qualified in HVAC and Refrigeration.Experienced in daily Service related Refrigeration issues and Project builds.15- 20 years industry experience "you know refrigeration inside out".5-10 years in a similar position managing Refrigeration Technicians.People management, Team building ,Project and Service delivery is a priority with appropriate referencesBuild and manage our Refrigeration techniciansBuild teams & Area controllers(2) & SparesNon nonsense approach.Manage leave.Responsibilities:Schedule daily work allocation of both technicians and build teamsMaintenance SLA'sDaily call outsProject Resource allocation & schedulingWorkshop repairsFollow on'sSpares "on time & right"Daily routine:7:30 Meeting & job allocation with technicians at 7:30Check fitness and ready to go eg. dress code, van stock etc.Manage our 2 Controllers allocating jobs and call outs to technicians (daily, hourly etc.)- right guy for the right jobCheck outstanding issues from previous dayRepair quote detail follow up with officeTechnicians Out the gate by 8:00Act as "go to guy", leader, coach, by phone/on site for challenging issuesSpot checks on site (5-10) per week (technicians & customer interaction )Weekly routineStandby schedule (daily/weekends/holidays)Tool & vehicle inspectionVan stockSix MonthlyConduct bi-annual performance reviews on techniciansDetermine development areas for skills improvement
