Receptionist

Requirements:
Matric Essential
Minimum 2 years experience in the same or similar position (Hospitality background advantageous)
OPERA Knowledge Required
Valid driver's license and own vehicle (advantageous)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Check in and checking out of guests
Accepting payments from guest and record correctly on system
Accept hotel reservations after hours/reservations department not available
Respond to enquiries (telephone, email, in person) regarding reservations, hotel information, guest concerns
Resolve customer enquiries, issues & complaints
Assist all departments in servicing the guests especially during high volume periods
Controls cash transactions at the front desk and maintains complete responsibility for personal bank
Promote all guest amenities and programs offered such as Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty Program
Must be willing to work shifts
Commision earnable on curio shop sales
