Re-Packer

Experience: At least two (2) years as a re-packer in the food manufacturing industry. Formal qualifications Matric Responsibilities In repacking (from tote to final packaging): Comply with repacking orders given by your supervisor Use correct labelling for the applicable product and control it (tote label has to match final product label) Repack accurately and timeously Follow procedures on repacking and cleaning Recording cleaning and re-packing in the records Comply with all tote management safety procedures (pressure, handling, transport) To comply with the applicable compliance guidelines And any other tasks necessary for the conduct of the business as the employer may from time to time direct Commit to act according to the key management principles and the safety-first culture as defined in the Safety-first policy Inherent requirements for the position Excellent communication skills (fluent in English) Attention to detail Work well under pressure Effective problem-solving skills Awareness of safety regulations and practices Physically capable of moving loaded drums and other containers Shortlisted candidates will be expected to undergo psychometric testing and background screening.
