The Raw Materials Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and managing the raw materials for both Continental Compounders and Continental Engineering Compounds to ensure customers' demands are met. They are responsible for monitoring stores and raw material levels. They need to ensure that the correct goods are delivered or received, in the correct quantities. They will need to accurately keep records of all goods. They are also responsible for the general housekeeping of both receiving and dispatch. They are accountable to the Logistics Manager.

Ensure all raw materials are correctly labelled and scanned
Ensure raw materials are available in line with MRP's
In collaboration with Procurement, monitor and track the use of raw materials
Escalate shortages to ensure production plan is not affected
Work closely with production management to ensure that raw materials are available to successfully run the production plan
Understand and optimise supply chains and systems
Communicate MRP's to all relevant stakeholders
In collaboration with senior management conduct stock build plans considering the capacity of raw materials supply
Update and maintain all required IT and online systems
Manage space in warehouses, ensuring raw materials are systematically organised
Manage redundant stock
Warehouses to be organised and tidy at all times
Oversee and supervise stock controllers, ensuring the necessary processes and procedures are being followed
Inventory Management
Manage daily and monthly stock counts
Prepare for monthly stock take and reconciliation
Update and maintain all required IT and online systems
Daily and month-end reports including stock variance reconciliation
Dispatching and Receiving
Ensuring the correct goods are delivered or dispatched
Ensure the correct quantities of raw materials are delivered or dispatched
Ensuring all received or dispatched goods are in good quality or condition
Calculate the raw materials received to ensure it is correct
Manage GRV's, returns to suppliers and price dispute variations
Housekeeping
Ensuring that stores are clean and tidy at all times
Operating a forklift to assist with receiving and dispatch as required
General Responsibilities

Skills and Experience
Diploma/qualification in supply chain or stock management
3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience of supply chain and material requirements planning
Strong problem solving skills
Strong analytical and data skills, numeracy
MS Office proficiency
Strong organisational and time management skills
Attention to details and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to perform under pressure
Experience of supervising staff
