We're in search of an experienced, well-presented individual with a love for wildlife and guest satisfaction. As a valued member of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, guiding activities, and maintaining the reserve's high standards.
DescriptionLead guided guest experiences and activities within the reserve.Conduct insightful guided walks showcasing local flora and fauna.Assist guests during check-in, orientation, and addressing their needs.Act as a bridge between guests and various reserve departments.Operate, maintain, and clean company vehicles.Aid in reserve management tasks such as game capture and monitoring programs.Support personnel administration and timekeeping.Assist with stock and inventory control.Foster positive relationships with guests and landowners.Ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all guests.At least 2-3 years of experience in a 5-star Game Reserve or tourism setting.Possession of a valid driver's license and PDP.Valid First Aid Level 1 certification or higher.FGASA Level 2 qualifications as a Field Guide.Familiarity with Western Cape fauna and flora.Strong communication skills in English.Physical and mental fitness.Ability to safely operate a 4x4 vehicle and perform basic maintenance.Proficiency in MS Office suite.Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to thrive under pressure.Flexible availability including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.Hospitality experience and a knack for guest relations.Preferred background in general maintenance or related fields.
