Quantity Surveyor (Prqs)

The role requires a professionally registered Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) to lead a team (on-site) that delivers quantity surveying services to our Client.
Key Responsibilities:

Assure that all quantity surveying standard services are provided throughout the project life cycle.
Manage delivery of the project quantity surveying services.
Manage team performance, developing of skills, knowledge and capabilities.
Prepare and review preliminary and detailed estimates of construction cost for budget approvals.
Assist with tender evaluations, contract clarifications and cost negotiations.
Monitor, advise and support project controls and contract administration services.
Lead and support the collation and compilations of contract documentation.

Qualification(s):

B Degree / B Tech / in Quantity Surveying at NQF7 with 360 credits

Related Minimum Experience:

5 years related experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Engineering / Engineering and Construction Contracts / Project Management in the Built environment

Professional Registration Body:
Professional registration with the South African Council for Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP) as a Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS).
