In this role, you will be responsible for providing public relations support and technical expertise within engineering projects while maintaining a strong focus on communication with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.Responsibilities:Manage public engagement efforts, ensuring transparent communication regarding project status and impactsCoordinate with various stakeholders, including governmental agencies, community groups, and the publicAssist in the preparation of documents and presentations for public meetings and hearingsAdvise on technical documentation related to civil engineering projectsEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standardsSupport project management in developing strategies for effective public relations and community engagementMonitor and address public feedback and concerns while maintaining positive relationshipsCollaborate with project teams to align engineering objectives with public relations goalsMaintain documentation and records for public engagement activitiesRequirementsMust be Pr Eng / Pr TechMust have experience in AutoCAD 3DMust be an SA CitizenMust be willing to relocate to Secunda (traveling up and down is not an option)Minimum 8 years' experienceDesign experience in roads, water, sewer, and stormwaterGeometric / Pavement Design would be greatExperience with work on Provincial / National RoadsEE would be an advantage but not a requirementExperience in the Oil & Gas Industry (Brownfields) will be an advantageBenefitsContact Hire Resolve for you next career-changing move.
