Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Paarl, Western Cape Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for property development projects. Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and value engineering to ensure financial efficiency. Manage project costs from inception to completion, including tender evaluations and contract administration. Monitor and control project costs, preparing interim valuations, and final account settlements. Collaborate with the Project Management team to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. Prepare and issue accurate reports related to financial performance, risk, and progress of projects. Utilize WinQS software for project cost management and reporting. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain effective communication throughout project lifecycles. Requirements: A relevant Quantity Surveying qualification (Diploma, Degree or higher). Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction or property development industry. Proficiency in WinQS software is essential. Strong understanding of construction processes, contract law, and project management principles. Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
