Looking for your next career move? TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR to join our client's large-scale project based in MALAWI.
JOB DESCRIPTION:

To lead, manage and prepare cost estimates, audits projects, manage construction revenue and costs and administer construction contracts.
Measurement and certification.
Budget & Cash management.
Contractual conditions, legal compliance, and administration.
Estimation.
Cost Reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

BSc Quantity Surveying (QS) or Equivalent, Honours qualification in the field will be an advantage.
Building Construction or any relevant qualification.
Registration with professional bodies will be a requirement (IBQS).
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).
Contract law and insurance.
Quantity Surveying.
Basic financial reporting.
Construction methods and outputs, programming, and scheduling.
SHEQ legislation.
Basic IR, including relevant labour legislation.
At least 8-10 years' experience in a similar position and business strategy, contract management, commercial and legal management; operational planning and implementation.
Valid Driver's license is essential.
