Quality Technician

Quality Engineer required for a reputable automotive manufacturing company based in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape.Requirements:National Diploma: Quality or National Diploma in B-Tech Quality/City & Guilds5+ years' experience in quality in an automotive environment2+ years' experience in weld inspection and evaluating within an automotive environmentIn-depth knowledge of manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industryRead and understand technical drawings and/or plansWeld Inspection CertificationCore tools CertificationResponsibilities:Weld sample preparation, including cutting and polishing of the samplesRecord and maintain welding inspection results that were witnessed and prepare associated reportCalibrate and verify gauges in accordance with the documented requirementsRaising of quality awareness in terms of scrap concerns (Quality Alerts, Visual Aids)On time completion of all applicable first off, roving, and last off inspectionsUpdate and maintain the gauge calibration databaseEnsure that all damaged and illegible gauges are removed and replacedShould you wish to apply, please email your CV through to Kerry O'Hagan at.
