Position: Quality ManagerLocation: Wolseley, Western CapeIndustry: Food ManufacturingOverview:RPO Recruitment's client, in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the quality control process within our food manufacturing facility.Responsibilities:Develop and implement quality control procedures and policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulationsConduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify areas for improvementCollaborate with production teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actionsMonitor and analyze production data to track quality performance and identify trendsManage a team of quality assurance technicians and provide training and guidance as neededCommunicate with suppliers and customers to address quality concerns and ensure product specifications are metParticipate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standardsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in food science, quality assurance, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role within the food manufacturing industryStrong knowledge of food safety and quality standards (HACCP, GMP, SQF, etc.)Experience with implementing and maintaining quality management systemsExcellent communication and leadership skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentCertified Quality Manager (CQM) or similar certification preferredSalary:Negotiable.
