Quality Manager - Manufacturing (Urgent)

REQUIREMENTS - QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

? Matric / Equivalent

? Diploma/Degree (Management or Quality Management)

? Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment

? Bilingual (English and Afrikaans.)



DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

? Designing and implementing the framework and methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and

production equipment

? Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards

? Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data

? Managing the quality team

? Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods

? Tracking products through the manufacturing process to ensure that each part of the process is

correct

? Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry

and company standards

? Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems

? Manage the quality and auditing-process and reporting

? Own weekly calibration sessions to ensure consistency

? Compile and distribute quality reporting in a standard format

? Drive requirements for technical quality and auditing solutions

? Provide clear insight into performance drivers

? Liaise with Operations on coaching and areas for improvement

? Prepare reports and analysis, including relevant analyses versus prior periods and forecasts and

associated risks/opportunities.

? Preparing a weekly/monthly report to management summarizing site Quality activities, concerns,

and project Quality statistics for the period.

? Drive the development of robust quality improvement coaching and training processes to drive

continuous improvement.
