Are you a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager in the Western Cape? NDC Personnel & Contractors has partnered with a specialised manufacturer in Cape Town to fill a Quality Manager role In this role, you will be tasked with developing and managing the technical strategy, processes, and systems in line with operational requirements. Your primary focus will be to implement and oversee new quality assurance systems in the factory, ensuring the highest standards of quality control are met. You will also play a critical role in building quality into the manufacturing process by instituting process changes, in-line checks, and quality systems while maintaining a safe and compliant working environment for all personnel. Your core responsibilities will include overseeing the implementation and management of QMS, conducting internal audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will also be responsible for compiling detailed reports on quality control findings, leading investigations into quality issues, and recommending changes to improve procedures, designs, or equipment where necessary. Your leadership will be vital in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, overseeing corrective actions, and ensuring that the company adheres to relevant HSE regulations. To be successful in this role, you should have a Grade 12 qualification, along with a BSc in Chemistry or B Tech in Quality. You must also hold certifications in ISO 22000, ISO 9001:2005, and ISO 17025. With 8-10 years of relevant experience, including a background in laboratory practices, vendor auditing, and managing quality assurance systems, you should be well-versed in the application of analytical equipment and have experience in the FMCG sector.
