Quality Manager

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Environment:- Ensure legal compliance to environmental laws.- Measure impact of companys operations on the environment and improve annually (carbon footprint, emissions, etc.)Quality:- Maintain quality system and certification.- Deploy QFD for key customers.- Develop and maintain SPC roll-out.-.Day-to-day management of the GRV and CRM processes (system and physical _management).- Problem solving to prevent quality defects.- Issuing reports to customers on findings, trials, action plans as required.Co-ordinate:- All internal audits as per audit matrix.- All external audits legislative and statutory.- Implement SHEQR related continuous improvement projects.- 5S - Implement and audit 5S system.- Compile & present Executive Managers month end checklist.- Report on Weekly quality performance, SPCREQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE- Tertiary education in a related field. (Safety, Quality, Environment)- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing advantageous- 5 Years SHEQR Management experience in a Manufacturing Environment
