An automotive parts manufacturer, based in Pretoria, is looking to employ an experienced Quality Manager to join their team.
Purpose of the job:
Responsible for ensuring the products or services produced meet established quality standards and compliance requirements. Quality manager play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the overall quality of products and processes. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and strong communication skills. Manage quality system to achieve objectives defined in the quality policy, to provide leadership in the quality department and to ensure all departments within the organization reach quality goals within budget to the level of customer expectations
Job Routine activities:
• Responsible for PPAP
• Manage the entire QOS
• Responsible for Problem Solving; Corrective and Preventative actions - Total Continuous Improvement process
• Adherence to the requirements of Quality Management System
• Liaise with Customer/s; sub-suppliers on quality related matters and system requirements
• Reports / feedback /updates
• Maintain internal audit schedule
• Procedure/Work Instruction/desk procedure reviews
• Attend weekly and daily meetings
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for PPAP
• Continuous improvement of Procedures/ Work Instructions
• Training and Development for area
• People Managed and Lead
• Team Time and Attendance managed appropriately.
• PPAP for running changes.
• Q1 MSA
• MMOG
• Reporting and closing off NCR's for both internal and external customers.
• Manage all QR's and CR's
• Q1 MSA portal administrator
Qualifications and experience required:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Engineering, Quality Management).
• Proven experience in quality management, with at least 5-7 years in a managerial role, within Motor
Industry - Ford/Toyota
• In-depth knowledge of quality standards, regulatory requirements, and quality control methodologies.
• 6-Sigma Greenbelt / Blackbelt certified (Will be an advantage)
• IATF, MSA and Q1 experience

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use data analysis tools and statistical methods.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage a quality team and liaise with various departments.
