Quality Engineering Technician

Job Description: Analyses any customer complaints and develop report.Investigate internal and external quality concerns.Gets involved in the inspection and testing of the products/services being procured where required.Quality member training regarding inspection sheets, CF WI and quality alert.Monthly report Internal (Scrap rate), Customer (SDS) and head office (QPR & Warranty status)Maintain customer KPI regarding QPR, PPM, SSN, Downtime & Warranty.Develop SPIS, SPPS & LABEL for P&A (Service parts)Liaise with external suppliers regarding calibration of test and measuring equipment and maintain calibration register / schedule.Actively involved in a monthly stock take.Issue audit report to the supplier and follow up regarding any open items from the audit.Deliver Project Quality documentation as per milestones.Actively involved in SPTTs (Supplier Parts Tracking Team).Representative for health and safetySupport SQT and external / internal suppliers to ensure product quality is achieved prior to delivery according to APQP / Customer requirements / VDA6.3 / IATF16949Support supplier quality issues and ensure the effective implementation of corresponding quality control measures.Conduct Internal Process & systems audit and Issue report.Support SQT to identify and evaluate potential risks and problems of supplier quality, track and urge the completion of corresponding recertification/requalification(PPAP) and constant improvement as well as enhance the suppliers product quality and process capability.Support Parts and Process approval submission according to milestones and release it accurately to Production at SOP.Support formulating incoming product inspection documents and conducted on the job training and assessment for inspection personnel.Support SQT in responding quickly to supplier quality problems found in the Purchase, Site and Customer, take containment measures, and follow up to solve them(SCARS).Responsible for product evaluation, developing steps and process audit.Work ability shall meet the specific requirements of the Customer.Utilise Quality Tools like, (APQP/PPAP/SPC/MSA/FMEA/Control Plan).Familiar with IATF16949 quality system standard.Job Requirements: National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or QualityQualified VDA 6.3 Process AuditorQualified IATF16949 internal and 3rd party Process AuditorAt least 5 years experience in Quality/Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering in automotive industry.Experience with IATF16949 & VDA6.3 standards of quality systems.Experience with process auditing VDA6.3 and IATF16949.Familiar with related products and processes is preferred with automotive components
