As a Refrigeration Technician, your role will be varied and dynamic. Youll be responsible for ensuring that all refrigeration equipment operates at peak performance, while delivering timely and high-quality service to clients.Key Responsibilities:Preventative Maintenance & Repairs:Conduct regular preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment to avoid unexpected breakdowns and maximize operational efficiency.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical issues within refrigeration systems, ensuring quick and accurate problem resolution.Ensure all repairs are performed to the highest standards, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operation for clients.SLA Compliance:Respond promptly to refrigeration callouts and adhere to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframes. Your ability to manage time effectively will ensure customer satisfaction and maintain service reliability.Be available for emergency callouts, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to resolving urgent issues when needed.Stock & Equipment Management:Effectively manage and maintain your vehicles stock, ensuring all necessary tools, parts, and equipment are available for service delivery. This includes minimizing stock variances and submitting timely stock orders to avoid delays in repairs.Ensure all parts used are documented, and administrative procedures related to stock are completed accurately, including stock returns and transfers between team members.Administrative & Documentation Tasks:Submit completed job cards daily, ensuring all work is well-documented and up to date for future reference.Regularly update outlet record boards according to prescribed guidelines, ensuring clear and accurate tracking of service visits and work completed.Perform weekly vehicle inspections and submit reports to the Operations Administrator, ensuring your vehicle is in optimal working condition and compliant with company standards.Quality Control & Problem Solving:Ensure that all refrigeration repairs and maintenance meet stringent quality control standards. Your attention to detail will prevent repeat issues and maintain a high standard of service.Take initiative in troubleshooting complex refrigeration problems, using both mechanical and electrical knowledge to find the best solutions.Client Interaction & Customer Service:Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about the nature of the issues and the steps taken to resolve them.Work with clients in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
