Quality Engineer (Interior)

Key Tasks: Qualifying Program Management : Initiate and manage qualification programs for introducing new parts. Continuous Improvement : Identify root causes of part deviations, implementing corrective actions across the part lifecycle to ensure consistent quality. Performance Testing : Test and evaluate part performance to verify alignment with specifications. Technical Expertise : Offer specialized knowledge on materials and functional aspects of complete parts. Design Improvement : Propose and implement design enhancements for complex part issues. Qualifications: Education : National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Experience : At least 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Essential Skills and Knowledge: Motor Vehicle Component Knowledge : Understanding of motor vehicle parts, functions, specifications, manufacturing processes, and testing methods. Quality Tools : Proficiency in DOE, SPC, FMEA, and 8D methodologies. Technical Interpretation : Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Analytical Skills : Strong analytical capabilities for troubleshooting and problem-solving. Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication for internal and external interactions. Independence : Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively. Travel Readiness : Willingness to travel locally and internationally on short notice. Other Requirements : Computer literacy (MS Office) and a valid drivers license.
