Quality Engineer (Interior)

Key Tasks:Qualifying Program Management: Initiate and manage qualification programs for introducing new parts.Continuous Improvement: Identify root causes of part deviations, implementing corrective actions across the part lifecycle to ensure consistent quality.Performance Testing: Test and evaluate part performance to verify alignment with specifications.Technical Expertise: Offer specialized knowledge on materials and functional aspects of complete parts.Design Improvement: Propose and implement design enhancements for complex part issues.Qualifications:Education: National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.Essential Skills and Knowledge:Motor Vehicle Component Knowledge: Understanding of motor vehicle parts, functions, specifications, manufacturing processes, and testing methods.Quality Tools: Proficiency in DOE, SPC, FMEA, and 8D methodologies.Technical Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities for troubleshooting and problem-solving.Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication for internal and external interactions.Independence: Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel locally and internationally on short notice.Other Requirements: Computer literacy (MS Office) and a valid drivers license.
