Minimum Job Requirements: National Diploma Quality Management or Engineering. Trained Auditor ISO 9001:2015; IATF 16949:2016 & VDA 6.3:2016. Minimum 5 years working experience within a Quality department using IATF 16949. OEM Automotive Manufacturing experience. Experience in writing procedure and compiling monthly reports. Experience in using roots cause analyses tools. Clear understanding of ISIR / PPAP, VDA 6.3 and IATF 16949:2016 and auditing. Key Performance Areas: Report to the Technical Manager: Systems and Process Compliance: Assist in maintaining an integrated Quality system structure. Perform audits on systems: 1st party IATF 16949:2016, processes 1st party VDA 6.3:2016 and products on site to a defined audit schedule. Continually monitor the adherence to optimum process settings and controls. Risk Management: Facilitate action teams and improvement programs on identified risks. Ensure that safety, environmental and quality standards are maintained, through random auditings. Information Management & Direction Focus: Circulate data and management reports. Control all quality-related documentation in the plant. Management of Quality at Source: Improve upon effective use of quality tools available to assist with improvement drives on the shop floor. Monitor, measure and trend the performances within the plant to highlight and reduce risks and concerns. Maintain Quality Registers, distribution matrices and relevant boundary samples. Conduct MSA s and SPC studies on process/product. Business Management: Measure, monitor and provide improvement plans for improving business systems. Co-ordinate the creation and implementation of a set of quality-related training modules for various levels of competency in quality tools and techniques. Quality Management & Control: Manage and maintain requirements/certifications related to Quality and other standards in accordance with: IATF 16949: 2016, ISO 9001: 2015 & VDA 6.3: 2016 Monitor and control Quality systems and processes to achieve quality standards. Ensure compliance of Quality Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions. Ensure all compliance audits related to IAT 16949: 2016 are planned and executed. Communicate and liaise with internal and external customers and foster relationships. Analyse the PPM's and defect trends within the production areas and make recommendations. Investigate all Quality non-conformances and track corrective actions. Develop Quality Assurance plans. Control non-conforming products and rework. Generate work instructions and product specific documentation. Facilitate the generation and update of flow charts, control plans and FMEAs. Ensure compliance to process and customer specifications. Compile monthly Management Quality reports. Investigate and implement counter-measures for continual quality improvement. Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP): Complete Production Part Approval Process. Review Quality risks of APQP activities and make recommendations. Provide input to the contract review process. Staff Management: Manage individual, team and departmental performance to achieve organisational objectives. Conduct performance reviews. Resolve grievances and disputes.
