Quality ControllerReference: Pta000052-VLR-1We are looking for a Quality Controller for the City Deep area in Johannesburg South to assist in ensuring adherence to food-safety standard requirements and meeting or exceeding both internal and external customer expectations.Duties & ResponsibilitiesRequirements:Grade 12Excellent MS Office applicationsMinimum 2 years' experience in a related roleHands-on active approachGood organisational skillsAbility to use own initiativeSelf-driven and self-motivatedBasic level logical thought abilityWell organised and ability to handle pressureEnergetic, committed and self-reliant individualExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAccountabilityStrategic thinkerGood presentation skillsDuties (Not limited to):Understanding of the Quality procedures and site GMP requirementsEnsuring Quality and Hygiene procedures and checks are in place and up-to-dateEnsuring Food standards in respect of safety, legality, and customer requirements are metControlling quality, training, internal auditing, aiding investigations for customer complaints; and ensuring remedial action is promptly taken to ensure the issue does not occur againA comprehensive understanding of food standards in respect of safety, legality, and customer requirementsResponsible for Quality Management System tasks which include:Process control checksHygiene / GMP inspectionForeign body hunts and checksTraceabilityNon-conformance (alerts and investigations)Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
