Pleasant, PA - 15666Duration: 6 MonthsRequirementMust be comfortable working in a warehouse environmentStanding for long periods of time in Steel toed bootsComfortable using warehouse type equipment (Pallet Jacks)Comfortable with a physically demanding role, bending over to scan boxes, lift & move boxes etc.Must have strong attention to detailMust have solid computer skillsData entry- entering items into SAP and performing basic searches (Prior SAP experience not required)Basic Excel experiencePrefer experience in a Quality environmentInspecting incoming material or non-conforming material (investigations/Quarantined Materials)Job OverviewPerforms timely incoming inspection of purchased finished goods received at the warehouse per established methods.Performs timely final release acceptance activities for postponement/late customization within the warehouse.Creates timely nonconforming records for failed inspections or final release activities.Responsible for meeting departmental metrics.Assists with maintenance of daily management boards and data presented.Support lean initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement and complete QEKs.Escalates issues to direct manager.May generate departmental metrics and report to management.Completes work with some supervision.ResposnsibilitiesFollow assigned procedures and complete all training records.Perform incoming inspection and/or final release acceptance activities withinwarehouse and distribution facilities.Creation of NCM records for failed acceptance activitiesUnderstand device history records and Bill of Materials (BOM)Partner with warehouse operations, SQ on resolving quality issues.Ensure quality system records (DHR, inspection, and other applicable records) arecomplete, accurate and comply with procedures.Meet departmental metrics
