The purpose of this role is to ensure quality and reliability of changes and enhancements, by conducting an objective assessment of the product based on appropriate criteria, real and perceived quality, conformance to standards anddetection of defects to web based medical software.In this role, you will work on various projects and enhancements involving the platform. Given the limited team capacity and fast delivery of new features, close collaboration with requirements and development teams is essential. Success requires meticulous planning, attention to detail, systems thinking, and leveraging automation and AI where possible. Knowledge and SkillsDeep understanding of a holistic picture for Quality Assurance including functional, performance and capacity testing, and how it interlinks with the modern and agile software development methodologiesSystems Thinking the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking)Ability to perform both white and black box testingAbility to perform manual testing when required and drive test automation within the testing team.Qualifications and ExperienceAbility to test web-based applications compulsoryMust have an IT Degree or Diploma and applicable training in the QA field.ISTQB qualification advantageousMinimum 3 years of experience in software testingExperience with test automation (Selenium/Cucumber/ Playwright/Cypress etc) is advantageousExperience with applying AI (ChatGPT) to everyday workings + testing advantageousExperience working in an agile environmentExperience working within a CI/CD frameworkMinimum 1 years of experience in healthcare preferredPrevious experience in software development is advantageousPrevious experience in the use of test case management tools advantageous (Eg: TestRail)Full regression testing, unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testingIntegration testing with 3rd partiesThe final remuneration package offered by the employer will be determined based on market standards, considering the candidate's qualifications, skills, and level of experience.
