Quality Assurance Officer

A Quality Assurance Officer will ensure that products arrive and depart in accordance with quality and safety standards, conduct quality control inspections, and provide QC Reports.Responsibilities include:Reviewing and improving current procedures and conducting regular audits for SOP compliance.Monitoring staff performance, providing guidance, and conducting essential training sessions.Investigating product quality issues, conducting root cause analyses, and raising Improvement Reports.Maintaining a comprehensive filing system, completing daily QA checklists, and providing regular compliance reports.Enforcing quality and cleaning standards, promptly addressing any deviations.Guiding production teams, recommending improvements, and overseeing the implementation of procedures.Conducting daily FIFO spot checks and assessing safety risks, communicating findings to relevant departments.Identifying training needs, fostering a food safety culture, and training new employees.Performing sporadic production checks and following through on HSE minutes, findings, and improvements.Tracking waste control, conducting cleaning inspections, and ensuring strict adherence to product testing procedures.Understanding SOP Implementation.Quality Control and Assurance.Health and Safety Regulations.Data Analysis and Reporting.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree or equivalent.Certified Food Safety Manager - Certificate or Diploma.HACCP certified with strong regulatory skills.An understanding of microbiology and food technology.Knowledge and understanding of poultry processing.Minimum 3 years proven experience as a QA Officer.
