Our client is looking for a Specialist: Quality Assurance. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the products or services meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance.
Responsibilities:Quality AssuranceInterpret and implement quality assurance standardsEvaluate adequacy of quality assurance standardsDevise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality dataPlan testing and inspection of systemsConduct and monitor testing and inspection of systems and products to ensure finished product qualityDocument internal audits and other quality assurance activitiesInvestigate customer complaints and nonconformance issuesCollect and compile statistical quality dataAnalyse data to identify areas for improvement in the quality systemPrepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activitiesCoordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providersEvaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actionsIdentify training needs and inform relevant stakeholders for training interventions required for business to meet quality standardsHelpdesk SupportComplete all valid helpdesk requests within a reasonable timeProvide application support on all IT in-house systems to the businessAssist with ad-hoc support to the BI, Development, and Project Management teams as requiredRequirements:IT related degree/diplomaCertification as Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, or Quality Improvement AssociateStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databasesKnowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of QA and relevant regulatory requirements (advantage)3 years' experience in IT Development1-year experience in the long-term insurance industry (advantage)Quality inspection, auditing, and testing experience (advantage)Experience with implementation of corrective action programs (advantage)Please provide ALL the information requested below to submit your CV:
