The successful incumbent is a self-starter with a proven track record in maintaining company policy, adopting best practices, and is able to exercise sound judgement in the pursuit of the achievement of the goals of the organisation, and understanding the role which Quality Assurance & Control Managerplays within a successful business unit. Role Responsibility:Quality Assurance & Quality Control Develop, implement and maintain QA/QC programs and proceduresConduct quality audits and inspections
Analyze and interpret QA/QC data
Identify and investigate quality problems
Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions
Train and supervise QA/QC staff
Manage the QA/QC budget
Represent the company on QA/QC matters to customers and other stakeholders
Administration Compile, implement and manage all required QA/QC documentationHealth and Safety Participate in the design/ development/ review/ implementation and monitoring of the branch/region/national safety plans for each year.Participate in safety forums created by company for example safety meetings and safety talksReport all safety incidents to the relevant peopleDiscuss all safety incidents on all levelsFollow-up on any activities assigned through safety meeting/committee/representative/managementAttend safety education and refresher programmesComply with safety policies and procedures at workplaceDistribute safety information as and when requiredWear protective clothing all the timeThe Ideal Candidate:Qualification and Experience Grade 12A valid Driver's License3 - 5 years relevant experienceA three year Degree or National Diploma in Quality Assurance and Quality Control or equivalent qualification will beadvantageousKnowledge of relevant Legislations, security regulations, quality standards, investigations, QA/QC techniques, risk assessment, fault finding methodologies, implementing changeComputer Literacy (Google Suite).Experience with ISO standardsExperience with other quality management systems and toolsSkills and Attributes Understanding the organizational environment
