VACANCY: QUALITY ASSURANCE ADMINISTRATOR (Reference: QA523)
The Donald Brown Group is a dynamic organisation in the salt industry and requires a Quality Assurance Administrator to join our team in Velddrif.
The incumbent will be responsible to ensure the quality of the product and the quality control systems are maintained and up to date with all relevant food safety and quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of processes, materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, and quality control systems.
Assist in all client queries related to COAs and food safety regulations.
Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on the appropriateness of data for release.
Perform visual inspections of finished products.
Conduct and compile laboratory tests and test data.
Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.
Entering, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic form.
Monitor, detect, review information from materials, events, or the environment, to prevent, detect, and assess problems.
Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
Requirements:
2 years' experience as quality assurer in a food production environment.
Applicable diploma.
Must be situated in or around the Velddrif area.
Knowledge of FSSC 22000, ISO, HACCP will be beneficial.
Own transport and driver's license.
Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, Pastel, Outlook).
Salary package dependent on experience and qualification.
